Dr. Levy, presenter on Genomic Medicine

Leonard A. Levy, DPM MPH, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, will be leading a presentation June 8, 2015 to be held at the office of the Palm Beach County Health Department in West Palm Beach.

The presentation  is entitled, “Preparing Future Primary Care Providers for Genomic Medicine: The Coming Medical Revolution.” Medical genomics represents a revolution that will change how healthcare is provided. All physicians, including DPMs, need to be trained to use the concepts and skills of medical genomics.

Dr. Levy served as a member of a panel at NIH, National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) representing the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine. He has been a board certified diplomate with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1993.
