Dr. Connors, to lecture on common running injuries

John Connors, DPM, a Meridian-affiliated board-certified sports podiatrist will conduct a free lecture about the most common running injuries at Runner’s High in Freehold, NJ on April 27. The most common running injuries are due to overuse, over-training, improper training shoes, or a flaw in running form. The important thing is that most running injuries can be prevented.

Connors is a world-renowned sports podiatrist who has been practicing for 21 years and is the medical provider to many elite athletes, including both professional and Olympic runners. He has lectured nationally and internationally on various sports medicine topics. In addition, he is a competitive triathlete and marathon runner who has completed more than 15 marathons.

Dr. Connors,  has been a board certified diplomate with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1992.
