Drs. Harkless and Scherer are both involved in the launch of CME Program for podiatric physicians that will be held in Israel

The American Health Care Professionals (AHCP) and Friends for Medicine in Israel (APF) has just released the details for a podiatric educational CME program in Israel. “This will be the first time in over twenty five years that there has been an educational program or mission to Israel for podiatric physicians in Israel,” says Dr. Marlene Reid, co-chair of the program. The program scheduled for Novemeber 15-24, 2015 is presented by both APF and Western College of Podiatric Medicine. Lawrence Harkless, DPM is serving as co-chair.

While many podiatrist may not be familiar with the APF, the APF is certainly familiar with podiatrists. Paul Scherer, DPM is the immediate past president and has been involved with the organization for many years, and Charles Kurtzer, DPM sits on their board as Membership Chair. The trip will be a traveling excursion and is geared for both first time visitors and those who will be returning to Israel.

Dr. Lawrence Harkless has been board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1994 and Dr. Paul Scherer has been board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1979.
