The 25th Annual Limb Deformity Course Features ABPM Diplomates

The 25th Annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Courses hosted doctors from over 33 countries as well as 30 different states in the United States. These courses included both lectures and hands-on labs that were designed for orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists and allied health professionals who treat long-bone deformities.

Dr. Chet Evans Participates in FPHA’s 126th Annual Meeting

This week, the Florida Public Health Association (FPHA) met for its 126th Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL. This year’s theme centered on disaster preparedness. Participating and in attendance was Chet Evans, MS, DPM, past chair and long-time member of the Podiatric Health Section of the American Public Health Association.

Dr. Evans encouraged all podiatric physicians to join the American Public Health Association, or at least their state component and have a voice in these issues. He is currently the Executive Director of the Rollins College Center for Health Innovation and was Vice President for Medical Affairs and Dean of the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine during Hurricane Andrew, which devastated South Florida in 1992.

Dr. Chet Evans has been board certified with the ABPM since 1993.

Laura J. Pickard, DPM has been named Alumnus of the Year by the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (SCPM). Dr. Pickard is a 1990 graduate of the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her podiatric residency program at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. She is Past President of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Podiatric Medicial Association.

Dr. Laura Pickard has been an ABPM Diplomate since 1994.
