H. John Visser, DPM Presented KSU Alumni Association Professional Achievement Award
Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) recently celebrated their centennial anniversary. This celebration was a fun-filled weekend of events, with alumni awards and recognition to special anniversary classes. Friday evening consisted of a catered clambake at the college’s current location. Saturday continued with CME classes, lunch, and tours of the current campus. The celebration came to a completion on Saturday evening with a dinner held in Downtown Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Barry L. Scurran, Class of 1970 returned to Cleveland to receive his KSUCPM 2016 Hall of Fame Award recognizing his achievements in the podiatric community. Dr. Mildred K. Dixon, Class of 1944 received the Centennial Award and celebrated her 100th birthday. Dr. Elliott W. Biggs received the KSUCPM Distinguished Alumni Award. Dr. Karen S. Kellogg received the KSUCPM Service Award. Dr. Nichol L. Salvo received the Young Podiatric Professional Achievement Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Irvin Donick. Dr. H. John Visser received the Kent State University Alumni Association Professional Achievement Award.
H. John Visser, DPM has been board certified with the ABPM since 1989.
